The mission of MEVFD is to minimize the loss of life and property resulting from fires, medical emergencies, and other disasters. As first responders to fires, public safety, medical emergencies, disasters, and terrorist acts, MEVFD protects the lives and property of Marrero Estelle residents and visitors. The Department advances public safety through fire prevention, investigation, and education programs. The timely delivery of these services enables the MEVFD to make significant contributions to the protection of Marrero Louisiana.
